We complete removals for the public to all parts of Europe. We regularly undertake jobs where access is a problem for larger vehicles. One memorial job was for a customer in Burnley in Lancashire who had time constraints and delivery access problems. The Customer was leaving the UK permanently and moving abroad to Stoupa on the peloponnese coast of Greece. As they weren’t returning they required their goods in Greece as soon as possible. We used a Luton Van with tail-lift for this removal as the new house in Greece was located up a narrow access road high up in the hills, this was the largest vehicle possible that could negotiate the road.
The vehicle was carefully loaded on Friday evening for the 2000 mile road trip and set off very early on Saturday morning. It travelled through the UK and into France via Dover. The drivers then shared the driving through France, Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany, Austria and finally down to Bari in Italy where they boarded the overnight ferry to Patras in Greece. Now well rested the drivers then completed the final 200 mile journey through Greece and arrived at their destination around 6pm on Monday. The goods arrived in exactly the same condition as they had left the UK and the customer was delighted.
